Community Care Provider

Peace Ranch is an approved Community Care Provider. What does it mean? The VA will pay for Veterans to get services at Peace Ranch.

How does it work? Easy!

  1. Ask your Primary Care for a Community Care Referral to Peace Ranch.

  2. Community Care will contact Peace Ranch to check availability.

  3. Peace Ranch will contact the veteran to make an appointment.

Peace Ranch is a designated military service provider through EAGALA.

Peace Ranch provides Peer Support and Equine Therapy from qualified professionals for Military/EMS and their families looking for a solution oriented, hands on approach to dealing with combat trauma, relationships, and re-entry.

I loved the Peace Ranch Equine Therapy for Veterans. It helped me through the toughest time of my life. They were all so helpful and understanding. I truly thank them for helping me at my lowest point of my life!

Welcome Home Film

A look at life after the war

In 2015, Vietnam Veterans from the VA/Peace Ranch program harnessed their ideas about being “thanked for their service” to make an educational video.

Their project was taken on by Luke Broyles, a video prodigy and student at Interlochen High School. Each Veteran was interviewed at Peace Ranch and the compilation of these interviews were synthesized into a documentary video the Veterans titled ‘Welcome Home.’ The first preview of the film occurred at the 2016 VA Conference in Traverse City, MI and is continuing to win accolades at film festivals around the country!
